WOUT VAN AERT: BRABANTSE PIJL
With Paris-Roubaix postponed to October, Wout van Aert focuses his attention to the Brabantse Pijl starting line-up, the first hilly classic of the season played out across 200km and 24 hills in Flemish Brabant and Walloon Brabant.
The succession of hills on this route is relentless, including a 550 metre-long cobbled climb featuring a maximum gradient of 17 per cent. Read Wout van Aert‘s full interview with Cycling News has he prepares for his Brabantse Pijl debut.
TIME MATTERS: RICHARD CURTIS' STORY
Ultra-cyclist Richard Curtis was the victim of a car accident in 2018 which left him with permanent brain injury.
Time Matters is a short film which shines a light on the life changing moment and Richard’s struggles thereafter. It serves as a sombre reminder that life is precious, and simple pleasures like riding your bike should not be taken for granted.

EASTER SUNDAY: TOUR OF FLANDERS
The men’s and women’s 2021 Tour of Flanders are both set to take place on Sunday 4 April. Defined by its cobbled climbs, the 2021 Tour of Flanders as usual will be largely played out in a small part of Belgium. Over the years it’s become a favourite for both spectators and riders and the atmosphere accompanies the race through the lane of Flanders.
EXPLORE UK'S BEST MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS
Every year show partners MBUK publish their guide to the UK’s best mountain bike trails – the places to ride if you want a pretty much guaranteed good time on two wheels! They focus predominantly on trail centres and bike parks, because their purpose-built, well-maintained trails are generally ridable no matter what the UK climate is.
COREBIKE LAUNCH COREBIKE ONLINE
COREbike the UK’s largest cycling trade event are delighted to announce the launch of COREbike Online a digital gallery for promotional videos and product news. The website gives visitors the opportunity to experience the latest products, new product releases, range overviews and more.
STEP ONE OF THE CYCLING ROADMAP
British Cycling has been in contact with Sport England and other national governing bodies to discuss the return to sanctioned activities and events. British Cycling-affiliated Club rides or recreation programme rides for up to 15 participants are allowed with some restrictions in place.
2021 EDITION OF GENT-WEVELGEM
In just a week, the peloton will gather under the Menin Gate in Ypres for a new edition of Gent-Wevelgem. Last year’s winner Mads Pendersen will face strong competition according to the provisional start list: a mix of fast men and classic riders. Who will win the Wevelgem?
60 SECONDS WITH CASEY BROWN
Not only has she raced downhill and enduro to Elite level, twice she has been crowned Queen of Crankworx and featured in several MTB films but she has done it all with a style few can match. LOCKDOWN CYCLING RULES EXPLAINED
The restrictions on cycle in the different UK nations still apply, however British Cycling have published a roadmap to restart group rides, sportive and competitions. Although subject to change British Cycling expects all activities to resume on 21 June, although some restrictions may still apply. These rules apply to England only.
COLLINS CUP: THE ROAD TO SAMORIN
The Professional Triathletes Organisation has announced the new date for the inaugural Collins Cup, now set to take place on 28 August, 2021. A spin off of golf’s Ryder Cup, this innovative new event will see the top triathletes in the world competing in the teams across a middle-distance multi race format. What does this mean exactly?
'WE REMEMBER THEM' UK-WIDE RELAY
The relay is set to take place from Summer 2021, with the goal to remember and support all frontline key workers who have done, and continue to carry out important and difficult work during the pandemic. Teams and individuals will carry specially-made batons in relay legs around the UK as they fundraise for the Laura Hyde Foundation charity.
ARE CHILDREN'S EBIKES LEGAL IN THE UK?
A question you may or may not of thought of. There has been a huge development in kids bikes – the arrival of chidren’s e-bikes into the UK, but what are the legal restrictions around this. Short answer is they aren’t legal until they are over the age of 14.

TIRRENO-ADRIATICO 2021 HAS BEGUN
Tirereno-Adriatico, nicknamed the race between the two seas is an elite race in Italy, the race began yesterday and seen Wout van Aert dominate the opening brunch sprint in Camaiore to take the first stage win.
The race continues until 16 March.
