Off-Road Test Tracks

After seeing the new off-road bikes and kit, here’s your chance to experience them for yourself.

With two different off-road specific test tracks available and 6 brands (more to come) showing off their latest off road and eMTB bikes, off-roaders of all abilities can get their adrenaline pumping.

Ride some of the newest Mountain and eMTB bikes for yourself on our all-new Mountain Bike Test Track sponsored by Bosch eBike Systems.

With 1.7km of ‘true’ woodland track put together by the one and only Kye Forte, you can be sure it’s going to be a challenging ride.

Thought an Anti-locking Braking System (ABS) was only for cars and motorbikes? Think again!

At this year’s Cycle Show there will be a fleet of Bosch-powered Riese and Müller eBikes ready for you to test on a bespoke ABS Test Track.

Genesis | Vagabond

The Vagabond is a ‘monstercross’ bike in the loosest sense of the term; the illegitimate lovechild of a road and mountain bike, a ‘frankenbike’ that has long been the staple of shed tinkerers.  

Calibre | Sentry Pro

World class, pro-level bike using the same gravity focused geometry as the Sentry (also available to test) but with with major upgrades in the suspension, gear set and brakes.

The Sentry Pro has a serious chassis for committed racers.

Ribble | Adventure 725

For anyone embarking on a bike trekking epic the Adventure 725 offers the complete package. The geometry of the frame has been carefully formulated so it offers a comfortable platform to embark upon your adventures which makes for a rugged and durable touring bike.


This year’s show will host a fantastic line-up of riders and cycling pros all sharing their inspirational stories of success and struggles to reach the top of their game. Simon Brotherton and Simon Paton will host Q & A’s across the weekend.

The Cycling pros and personalities will be giving talks on both the Main Stage and the komoot Cycling Advice Stage.

VIP Ticket Holders will also have autograph and photo opportunities with cycling’s biggest names in the VIP Lounge.

Martyn Ashton

Saturday 14 September Martyn Ashton’s career took off in the mid-1990s riding for the mighty Volvo Cannondale team. His ability on a bike made him one of the UK’s best-ever mountain bike trials riders.

Tracy Moseley

Saturday 14th September 4 times World Champion Mountain biker in Downhill and Enduro, Tracy Moseley will be talking about her journey of becoming a world champion rider and taking part in the last ever Trans-Provence 6-day alpine enduro.


Friday 13th – Sunday 15th British MTB Pro Olly Wilkins can be found shredding down trails and tackling jumps-and-drops on Focus’s eMTBs and MTBs. Catch him on the Komoot Cycling Advice Stage supported by Bikeradar each day of the show, where he’ll be talking about his career, what he has learnt along the way and why “e-bikes are a force for good”.
