Rebecca Romero an Olympic cycling and rowing medallist and is the first person to ever win Olympic Gold and Silver medals in two completely different sports.

Romero has won a number of Olympic and World Champion accolades during her career in Cycling and Rowing.  In 2008, Romero received not only an MBE but also an Olympic Gold Medal in the Individual Pursuit, a Gold Medal at the World Championships in Individual Pursuit and a Gold Medal at the World Championships in Team Pursuit.

Due to the IOC cycling scheduling changes Rebecca has switched from Track Cycling to Time Trials, with which she is aiming for her third medal in three different sports in 2012.
